Hey everyone!

I thought I would write a message to let you know what to expect from johnnybdesign in 2008:

- As you all know, I've been working on Agent Scarecrow (Chapter 2 & 3 --- http://johnnybdesign.com/scarecrow.html) for quite some time now. This is an ambitious project since there are a lot of cinematics in the game. I hope to release both chapters simultaneously very soon (early 2008) Smiley

- The little poll that we have conducted in the forums tells me that you want more Jack French/detective games. Since then, I had some time to meditate on the topic and I came up with a good idea...  Shocked Shocked That's great cuz I have some artwork left from several scenes that were cut and I'll be able to use them... stay tuned!

- My initial intentions with the Jack French series was to learn more about webgaming and game design. With the experience gained, I would now like to create a full-length adventure game. Something really HUGE. With a bigger inventory, a complex storyline, more mesmerizing characters and challenging puzzles. I gave an hint in the third episode of Jack French (http://johnnybdesign.com/jfrench3.html)... which I thought was clever but it totally went unnoticed Sad
If you look carefully in the office, you'll find two posters: one of Agent Scarecrow and another one of Sorgoth..well...that was the hint. I expected a few emails or posts in the forums asking about it but it didn't happen.  Undecided

Is it realistic to think that I'll finish the Sorgoth game within a year? Probably not but I hope to have completed most of it by year end.

- I also have other games in the drawer that are near completion; Games that don't fall in the point-and-click or adventure genre... so I don't talk much about them and they get neglected. Games like Battle of the Four Kingdoms wich resemble a board game like Risk (http://johnnybdesign.com/bot4k.html).

So I am looking forward to an amazing year, bring on 2008!

PS You can register to our newsletter if you want to be informed on the release of new games. Just send an email to newsletter@johnnybdesign.com to do so (Don't worry! It is SPAM free and I don't do anything with the addresses collected in the process....herrr... except from sending notifications of new games obviously Smiley )

my opinion is pretty much irrelevant but it was clever
and don't forget the only opinion that truly matters is your own

Awesome. The Jack French sequels are the best. I love the way you instill the
sense of thrill & bring them to life. Looking very forward for your next upcoming ones
especially Agent Scarecrow. I really appreciate your creativity & hardwork effort behind
these overwhelming projects. Keep it up. Wink

Mistakes overturned so I called it a lesson learned.
