Agent Scarecrow Dev Topic
« on: May 24, 2007, 11:58:39 AM »

Hello, I'm Aaron, and along with JohnnyB I assisted in the writing of Agent Scarecrow  Smiley

Johnny has given me permission to make this topic, where I get to answer questions that AS players may have. Any questions you may have, I will attempt to answer.

Any questions regarding help, glitches, and so on should be posted in this forum area and not in this topic.

This topic will start out a little slow, because we are only at episode 1. But 2 is just around the corner, so feel free to ask what you want!

Thanks Aaron for the rich script that you have provided us with.
It was a pleasure to bring your words into images.

Aaron should be able to answer all of your questions and will be more active than I am in the forum.

I may put my grain of salt here and there in the discussion... being a little bit more familiar with the script (since I work with it on a daily basis).

huh? If you have logged into the comp, there is not much else to do.... Open the only "clickable" application (to be more precise, there are two clickable apps but one doesn't do anything) and enjoy.

 Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Hi,

Very good game! But so short. (I know this sounds a bit arrogant but I found the solution quite easy -  138 would not make sense - just look at the picture and count the angles..)

So even though I was given a passcode - episode 2 does not exist yet? And I would really want to see what is going to happen next - what has happened...

I am going to try your other games.

This one is excellent so far. Roll Eyes Shocked Grin Shocked Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Shocked Grin

Cheers,

Syb

Hi Syb,

Well, I released Chapter 1 to test for the response before devoting more of my time to this series. I also wanted some feedbacks/comments in order to make corrections/improve subsequent chapters.

I know that the wait is not ideal and I am deeply sorry. As a gamer, I don't like when developers leave us with such a cliffhanger. Thus, I am planning to release Chapter 2 and 3 at the same time to avoid any other gap.

Yup. This email is real... It might serve a purpose down the road.
It's like the chat (althought this one is not completely implemented yet).

Thanks for the good words about the game.
I am confident that the next chapters will be a blast!

Completed it with ease. I sure do hope AS Chapter 2 is more challenging.

I completed AS with no issues.  Compared to the Jack French Webisodes, I prefer the Jack French.  Don't get me wrong, the story line is great and such, but the graphics are more difficult to see in the Agent Scarecrow's webisode.  And I only had one question, so far...   Grin   The bedside table, you can click on it, but I couldn't get it to open and I then thought that maybe I needed to find a key, but I couldn't find a key anywhere either.  Any hint\help on that???

Yup, there is a key hidden in the apartment.  Grin Grin Grin I'll give you a hint: It's not in the bathroom. Look elsewhere  Wink
